Payments
We currently accept payments via CASH or CARD. We DO NOT accept CHEQUES and all completed work is payable immediately.
Repairs
We can repair TV sets and Computers from all major manufacturers and will try to repair any other brands.
However, it must be stressed that the budget type TVs and Computers have very little in the way of service information and spares being readily available.
Back-Light Replacement – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
If any work is needed involving screen removal, it must be noted that the screen can break very easily and whilst EVERY care it taken, we cannot be held responsible if damage occurs due to the manufacturers making it more and more difficult to service them.
Also, if a set comes in for ‘sound but no picture’ and after replacing LED back-lights and it is discovered that there was previous damage to the screen (this cannot be seen sometimes until back-lights have been replaced) then a charge for parts an labour will still apply.
If you do not agree with these terms and condition, please do not ask us to proceed.
Second Hand Equipment Sales
Please note that peripheral items such as remote controls, external power supplies, laptop batteries and power leads are not included in any warranties and are ‘Sold as seen’.
Software and Firmware
Software, firmware and APPS are NOT guaranteed in any way.
Equipment Responsibility
We will not be held liable for any equipment off site (I.E. outside of the shop premises) if asked to collect/help deliver equipment to/from vehicles etc.
IMPORTANT
If parts are not available from manufacturer or approved sources but are available from 3rd party or private sources (eBay etc.) and you wish us to fit these parts then we will not guarantee these parts or their reliability.
Also if the parts are obtained and fitted and further problems/damage is caused then we will not be held responsible.
Also, any charges incurred will only be a ‘Service Charge’ without any guarantees on equipment or labour.
Your guarantee starts from the day you were informed the equipment has been repaired and is ready, NOT the date you collected it.
It is the customers responsibility to check the condition of their equipment BEFORE they leave our premises as we will not be held liable for any issues that occur after this unless specifically relating to any work carried out by us.
It is the customers responsibility to inform Tellyfix of any changes of contact information (i.e. telephone numbers changed) or change of address.
Also, you must notify us, by text (SMS), email or in writing, if you will be away on holiday etc. and the collection period for your equipment crosses the deadline where the equipment will be disposed of or sold (as detailed below) so we can extend this period for you.
If you fail to inform us then we will dispose/sell the equipment.
Repaired equipment not collected within 21 days of being informed it is ready will either be disposed of or sold to recover costs, unless prior agreement by either written, email or text (SMS) notification is made.
None repaired, refused repair or no contact regarding equipment awaiting approval, then this equipment will be disposed of after 7 days if not collected.
